This was our first corporate gig and our first time playing in an airline hangar. The even was a benefit for the Lincoln Community Playhouse and ended up raising a ton of moolah! There was a sketch/improv program as the main event. Vince played some warm up lounge music as people were arriving. Then Matthew joined him as they sang some appropriately cheesy wedding music before the sketch started. But it was after the sketch finished that the real fun started. The band played three killer tunes that got the dance floor flooded with people. If we'd had our way, we'd have kept on playing. Instead, we paused as the Playhouse did a live auction. But it wasn't long before we got to playing (again) and got the dance floor packed (again). We were proud to support the Playhouse that night and had a great time playing for them.
